Contribute to Whiteside Theatre

Our plan is to create a community-wide partnership to restore the theatre to its former glory as the centerpiece of downtown Corvallis entertainment.

The Whiteside Theatre is a unique part of Corvallis' rich history and our vibrant future. Broad community support is essential to bring the theatre back to life. Become a Member of the Whiteside Theatre Foundation and become part of the growing coalition of citizens, foundations, and businesses who are uniting to revive Corvallis' historic movie palace. Structural and mechanical inspections in 2003 and 2008 confirm that the theatre is exceptionally well-built and structurally sound. Estimates for systems upgrades are in place and restoration will proceed as quickly as funding is available. Upon completion, the theatre will once again come alive with a diverse array of films, local and touring performers, educational programs, and community activities.

Become a Member

Become a Member of the Whiteside Theatre Foundation to help support rehabilitation of the historic Whiteside Theatre in downtown Corvallis, and to sponsor community-building activities, educational programs, films, music, and other types of entertainment.

Donate to or join the Whiteside Theatre Foundation, then earn a 100% Oregon tax credit by making a matching gift to the Oregon Cultural Trust before December 31. You give twice but it only costs you once since your entire Trust gift is refunded on your taxes. Trust donors build the fund that benefits neearly 1,300 Oregon arts, heritage and humanities nonprofits. Including the Whiteside, which received its first Cultural Trust grant this year. The Whiteside Theatre Foundation is a nonprofit public charitable corporation, composed of an all-volunteer group of people who are working together to restore and reopen the historic Whiteside Theatre for the benefit of the entire community.
